Elon musk spaceX launched its starship rocket saturday morning, before it exploded about 15 minutes into the flight.
The test flight made it further than the previous attempt in april, which ended in an explosion about four minutes after launch.
The rocket took off from the company’s spaceport in texas on what was intended to be a roughly 90-minutes operation.
Shortly after the launch, the starship spacecraft separated from a huge booster, which was a key goal for the flight.
SpaceX’s first successful hot stage for space ended in a rapid unscheduled disassembly of the super heavy booster.
